A WW1 Officer's Medal Pair & Miniatures awarded to 2nd Lieutenant John Harry Chapple, Royal Field Artillery, late Army Service Corps.

John Harry Chapple was born circa 1895, and it appears he was originally from the London area, and he attested on the 26th of November 1914, joining the ranks of the Army Service Corps.

He served on the Western Front with the 2nd L.D.S. Column, Army Service Corps (T.F), from the 24th of June 1916, through to the 14th of November 1916. Harry was then commissioned into the Royal Field Artillery as a 2nd Lieutenant on the 20th of September 1917, and returned to the Western Front.
