A WW2 Burma Campaign Medal Group & Two Booklets Attributed to Freddie "Crackerjack" Baker, Royal Engineers.
Very little is known about Freddie “Crackerjack” Baker, other than he was from Watford, Hertfordshire, and served with the Royal Engineers in the Far East during WW2. He was apparently part of a R.E. team that helped produce and print maps of various theatres of operation in the Far East.
The medal group is accompanied by two original colour Royal Engineer booklets that cover the team, and the areas that they operated in during WW2, amongst other topics.
The medals are mounted for display, sold with the two booklets, and are as follows -
1939/45 Star; Burma Star; Defence Medal; 1939/45 War Medal; all unnamed as issued.
Condition - Medals, good very fine. Booklets, very good condition for their age.
