A WW1 Officer’s Medal Pair & Special Constabulary Long Service Medal to Lieutenant J. F. Brady, Royal Field Artillery, late Royal Horse Artillery

John Francis Brady originally enlisted into the Royal Horse Artillery (153412), however he was commissioned into the Royal Field Artillery on 30 January 1917 and entered the war in France in March 1917. He was promoted to Lieutenant on 30 July 1918 and relinquished his commission on 1 April 1920. Brady applied for his medals in March 1920 and they were sent to him at Jeskyns Court, Cobham, Near Gravesend, Kent.

The medals are mounted as worn, sold with some copied research, and are as follows -

British War and Victory Medals, LIEU. J. F. BRADY.; Special Constabulary L.S. & G.C., G.V.R. coinage head, JOHN BRADY.
