A WW1 1914/15 Star Trio & WW2 Defence Medal Group awarded to G-1555 Pte W.G. Meeten, 12th Battalion, the Royal Sussex Regiment.
William George Meeten was born during 1889 at Westham, Sussex. He enlisted into the ranks of the Royal Sussex Regiment on 03.09.1914, and disembarked France on 01.05.1915, serving on the Western Front with the 12th Battalion.
At some point William was wounded and subsequently discharged on 03.07.1918, due to his wounds.
The medals are mounted for display on original ribbons, sold with copied research, and are as follows -
