A 1908 India General Service Medal, clasp NORTH WEST FRONTIER 1908, awarded to 575 Pte Thomas Henry Jordan, 1st Battalion the Northumberland Fusiliers.
Thomas Henry Jordan was from the Otley region of West Yorkshire, and enlisted into the ranks of the Northumberland Fusiliers on the 23rd of March, 1909.
He served with the 1st Battalion on the North West Frontier, and later served during WW1 with the 3rd Battalion, landing in France on the 13th of August 1914. Due to sickness, Thomas was discharged on the 16th of August, 1917, and is entitled to a Silver War Badge (No.236409), and the 1914 Star medal trio.
