An Order of St. John Serving Sister Breast Badge, WW2 Defence Medal & Service Medal Group awarded to Mrs Lilian Mary Valentine Cox.
Lilian Mary Valentine Cox lived in the Windsor and Acsot areas of Berkshire, and between the 8th of August 1939, and the 2nd of May 1945, she worked for the Berkshire County Council Defence and Emergency Planning Department.
Lilian was also a Divisional Superintendent with the Ascot St John’s Abulance Brigade.
The medals are sold with two pages of copied research, and are as follows -
The Order of St. John Serving Sister Breast Badge, privately engraved, DIV. SUPT. L.M.V. COX Ascot Nursing Division S.J.A.B. 1959; 1939/45 Defence Medal, unnamed as issued; St. John Service Medal, unnamed as issued.
Condition, slight tarnishing to the obverse of the Service Medal, otherwise good very fine.
