An Order of St John Serving Brother & Service Medal Pair awarded to Dr Arthur Gerald Sleeman Tabb, M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P.

Arthur Gerald Sleeman Tabb was born on the 29th of February, 1901, at Holborn, London.

He first qualified as a doctor, and then as a surgeon. During WW2, the 1939 Census has him listed as an A.R.P. working with the Holborn Casualty Mobile Unit (entitled to a WW2 Defence Medal).

The medal pair are mounted for display, sold with copied research, original box of issue, and are as follows -

The Order of St. John Serving Brother, unnamed as issued; Service Medal of the Order of St John with long service bar, D/SGN. A.G.S. TABB. No 1015. S.J.A.B. 1958.

Condition, Serving Brother, very minor enamel chip at 1 o’clock, otherwise good very fine
