Little to nothing is known about D.R. Wilson, other than he lived at 33 Whiteley Wood Road, Sheffield, Yorkshire, and he was a keen ornithologist.
During WW2 he served with either the Fleet Air Arm or the Royal Navy with the service number FX 706846.
