Frederick Terrington was born on the 17th September 1913, and is belived to have been born at Leeds.

During WW2, Frederick served with the Army Ordnance Corps and died as a result of an accident on the 23rd February, 1942.

Frederick is remembered with Honour at the Aldershot Military Cemetery.

The Defence Medal is in its original named (to his widow) O.H.M.S. box of issue, named condolence slip, medal envelope, length of original ribbon, original R.A.O.C cap and lapel badges, some copied research, and is as follows -
