A WW1 "Wounded" medal pair awarded to 52761 Pte. R.W. Richardson, 12th & 13th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry.

Ralph William Richardson appears to have come from the the Stoke on Trent area of Staffordshire. He joined the ranks of the Durham Light Infantry, serving on the Western Front with both the 12th Battalion and the 13th Battalion.

He is listed as “Wounded” on the 25th August 1917 (W.O.D.L. No.5347 refers) and again on the 10th December 1918 (W.O.D.L. No.5744 refers). His pension card references “wounds to right knee and right leg”. He was discharged on the 23rd March 1919.

The medals are mounted as originally worn on original ribbons, sold with copied research, and are as follows -
