An India General Service Medal 1908, Clasp NORTH WEST FRONTIER 1908, to 575 Pte Thomas Harry Jordon, 1st Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers.
Thomas Harry Jordon enlisted on the 23rd of March 1903, and served with the 1st Battalion the Northumberland Fusiliers, arriving in India during 1905, and serving in Peshawar and Bombay. The 1st Battalion participated in expeditions against the Zakha Khel and Mohmand tribes people, with the Battalion returning to England during 1912.
During WW1 Jordan served with the 3rd Battalion, landing in France on the 3rd of August 1914. He was discharged as medically unfit due to sickness on the 16th of August 1917. He is entitled to a 1914 Star Trio.
The medal is mounted on a length of ribbon, sold with three pages of copied research, and is as follows -
